Press Conference to be held for International Watchdogs Tomorrow
A press conference for human rights observers is scheduled to be held at 12 PM tomorrow afternoon at the Press Syndicate. It will be attended by foreign politicians, human rights activists and journalists from around the world, who just came to participate as monitors in the upcoming session of the military trial for 40 MB leaders, headed by MB 2nd Deputy Chairman Eng. Khairat Al-Shatter and others.
The foreign monitors are: Mr. Mahdi Bray, the executive director of the MAS Freedom Foundation, Bruce Nestor, a Minneapolis attorney and past president of National Lawyers Guild (NLG), and Ammar Al-Qirbi, envoy of UN Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) and representative of the Arabic Committee for Human Rights (ACHR).
Mr. Mahdi Bray is an influential Human Rights activist, known for his excessive engagements in Human Rights affairs inside the US . Being one of the founding board members of the National Coalition to Protect Political Freedom, he currently sits on the Advisory Boards of the American Muslim Council and the Muslim Public Affairs Council.
Regarding his political activism inside US, Bray has been one of the distinguished opponents who denied the war on Iraq .
Mr. Bruce Nestor is a Minneapolis attorney and an earnest supporter of immigrants’ human rights portfolio.
