Nafha society appeals for releasing imprisoned mother in Israeli jails

The Nafha society for the defence of human rights appealed to international human rights organizations especially those concerned with women"s rights to pressure Israel for the release of a Palestinian mother called Zuhour Hamdan, 44, from Nablus detained in the Israeli Hasharon prison. The society added that this prisoner spent more than five years of her an eight-year sentence issued against her at the pretext of being affiliated with the Palestinian resistance, pointing out that she left behind nine children the youngest is two years old. In a telephone conversation, a daughter of the prisoner told the society that her mother suffers from hypertension, rheumatism and toothache and appealed to everyone to move immediately for her release. |
