The violent quelling by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) of the protest demonstrations in occupied Jerusalem left 20 Palestinians wounded and 11 detained.
The Quds center for social and economic rights said that the 11 Jerusalemites were kidnapped in the vicinity of the Aqsa Mosque during the clashes between the unarmed protestors and the IOF soldiers.
The center said that six of the wounded were hit with rubber bullets, including two young girls, while 12 suffered breathing difficulties and two suffered fractures, including a 40-year-old woman.
It pointed out that the events started after the IOF soldiers closed all gates of the Old City since the dawn hours and prevented citizens less than 50 years old form entering but allowed Jewish fanatic groups to stroll inside the Aqsa under the guise of tourists.
