It appears that Pastor Terry Jones is getting the media attention he sought two years in a row with the Dove outreach the church's infamous "Islam is the Devil" t-shirts upping the ante in 2010 with an anti-Islam heinous plan to burn the Muslims holy Quran.

Jones's antics however were not confined to the front pages of print outlets like the Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald. and Anchorage Daily News. All three broadcast networks ABC, NBC, and CBS featured the Quran-burning story prominently on their website

According to journalists the story appears to carry more weight as major officials and world leaders continue to weigh in

The Quran-burning story carries the same weight as the proposed Islamic center and mosque near Ground Zero. That story which had been receding from the headlines until President Obama offered his take, setting the 24/7 news cycle into overdrive.

On Aug. 25, the New York Times ran a profile of Jones, underscoring that had Jones ‘stunts” happened in a different time he definitely would have been ignored

Hilary Clinton commented to reporters hopes that Jones would change his mind

"We're a country of what, 310-million-plus right now," Clinton said Wednesday. "And it's regrettable that a pastor in Gainesville, Florida with a church of no more than 50 people can make this outrageous and distressful, disgraceful plan and get the world's attention."
