Ikhwanweb condemns barbaric killing of Italian activist

Ikhwanweb vehemently denounces the killing of the kidnapped Italian peace activist who had been found dead in a home in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Vittorio Arrigoni was strangled to death, after being abducted by a Salafi group, which is according to reports, is an offshoot of al-Qaeda. The slain peace campaigner had worked with a pro-Palestinian group called the International Solidarity Movement.
Hamas has arrested two suspects in connection with the murder, stressing that those who killed the Italian served Israel ’s interests.
Ikhwanweb condemns in the strongest possible terms the crime, stressing it does not reflect the values, of Islam, its customs and traditions. It calls for the immediate investigation and the quick trial for all to be held accountable.
