The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) criticized the Egyptian official stance towards Israeli killing of Egyptian soldiers, describing it as "unacceptable and not meeting the demands of the people."
In a press release Tuesday, the FJP called for a response which would satisfy the people and sustain their dignity and role in the region.
“The January 25 Revolution marks a new beginning for Egypt's foreign foreign policy, and any course of action following the Revolution should be reflective of its spirit," the statement added.
FJP also expressed its support for the nationwide protests against Israeli aggression, praising Ahmed Shahat, the young Egyptian man who was removed the Israeli flag and raised the Egyptian one in its place, describing his action as patriotic and demonstrative of the true Egyptian spirit restored following the revolution.
