Dr. Amr Darrag, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation in the Government of legitimate President Mohamed Morsi, who is also the head of the political office of the Egyptian Revolutionary Council and a senior leader of the Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance, said: "After the coup is finally defeated, administration of Egypt's State affairs will be shared out".

In an interview with the Mekammileen (We shall continue) satellite TV channel affiliated with the opposition in Egypt (and which broadcasts its programs from outside Egypt), Dr. Darrag added: "The putschists thought the Muslim Brotherhood was simply a reformist group that would quickly succumb and accept the illegitimate coup. But the reality has proved the traitors wrong.

"Change inside the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt emanates from its youth, at all levels… The only coup in history challenged with popular protest for more than a year and a half is the traitorous and illegitimate coup in Egypt.

"Despite the junta's brutality, arrest and detention, Egypt's women actively and positively turn out in all revolutionary protest events."

Speaking about junta violations of fundamental freedoms in Egypt, Dr. Darrag said: "More than 1,000 civilians have been referred to military courts".

On the issue of retribution for the martyrs of Egypt's Revolution, he said: "The blood of martyrs will not be laid to waste. Revolutionary courts will be tasked with exacting fair and prompt justice."
