Akef mourns Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mitawa

Mohammed Mahdy Akef, chairman of MB , on Monday described the death of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mitawa, the well-known Kuwaiti philanthropist, as a big loss for Kuwait and the Arab and Muslim Ummah (Nation).
Akef, in a press release, expressed his deep sorrow for the loss of Sheikh Abdullah, the board chairman of the Kuwaiti social reform society.
He said, "We lost a great man, who dedicated his life to the service of his country, religion and Ummah". He said that Kuwait should be proud of having such a man, who was supportive of all Islamic questions, especially the Palestine cause.
The loss of Sheikh Abdullah came at a time the Ummah was in bad need of his likes, Akef said, hoping that this brothers and disciples would follow his march.
Sheikh Abdullah died at noon Sunday at the age of 82.
