Pro-Democracy National Alliance Statement Applauds Revolutionaries Ingenuity, Selfless Devotion
The lust for blood and desire to maim and murder has taken hold of mad military junta herds which continue to savagely attack and kill peaceful protesters demonstrating in the streets of Egypt. Coup corruption and betrayal has filled Egypt with the blood of the innocent, from the Sinai in the east to Matrouh in the west, from Beheira in the north to Sohag in the south.
The sight of innocent children recently burnt to death, filling us with anguish and pain, has not satisfied the coup commanders’ and collaborators’ desire for killing Egyptians. Indeed, they brutally violate the sanctity of mosques, attacking worshipers as they pray, very much like their Zionist masters’ aggression on Al-Aqsa Mosque and our people in occupied Jerusalem.
The Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance applauds the millions of Egyptians who turned out everywhere in huge anti-coup rallies. It announces the continuation of ‘resistance to oppression’, and offers sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, our Revolution’s greats.
The Alliance places responsibility for the blood of the martyrs on states which colluded with the coup and its junta regime and commended – in Geneva – the junta’s daily terror. The Alliance appreciates endeavors by the ambassadors of the Revolution and human rights who slammed the junta regime with the submission of 300 recommendations against it, for the first time in the history of Egyptian rights arena. The Revolution will continue until the enemies of humanity and human rights in Egypt are defeated.
The bullets of treachery from the traitors’ and murderers’ guns, which kill Egypt’s best youths, will not quell this generation that thirsts for freedom, dignity and justice or stop it completing the Revolution to ultimate triumph, no matter how arrogant, ignorant or murderous the junta herds become. In the streets and squares, as well as in prisons and jails, there will be steadfastness, determination, rage, faith and confidence in victory.
To all revolutionary men and women of Egypt…
This is your homeland, and that is your dream of freedom coming true. Stand firm, and resist injustice. Complete the Revolution, so tyranny is toppled, the executioner is executed, and the aggressors are held to account.
Continue your revolutionary week in accordance with the objectives and priorities. The Revolution is yours, and so is the future. This generation will liberate Egypt from injustice, corruption and the terror of the coup and the military junta. This generation shall live free and exact retribution from those who killed innocent Egyptians, very soon.
