Qena: One Muslim Brother Released

State Security Prosecution decided on Wednesday September 10,2008 to release Abdul-Majid Abdul Rahim Omar in the Upper Egypt governorate of Qena, who was held in custody in Case No. 1118, Ikhwanweb reporter said.


 


He was arrested from his work site on August 13, 2008 and was presented to the prosecution in the same day, where he was accused of joining Muslim Brotherhood, and was ordered to be held in custody for 15 days.



After fulfilling the decided period of detention, he was presented again to the prosecution on August 27, which decided, headed by Hisham Badawi the first general lawyer of the Supreme State Security Prosecution, to continue the arrest of Abdul-Majid Abdul Rahim Omar for another 15 days.
