The online-edition of the German newspaper Die Welt publishes totally shocking racist comments and refuses to delete them from their webpage – take action, please!
After the murder of a 32-old Egyptian woman, Marwa al-Sherbini, in the German town of Dresden during a court trial against her future killer and the ensuing reactions in Egypt, the German newspaper Die Welt published this long article“Islamisten fordern Vergeltung für Mord im Gericht”
Everyone can give a comment on the articles – and some of the comments are openly racist and in-humane. While one commentator recommends the murderer for the highest distinction Germany can award, the Federal Cross of Merit, another commentator speaks of the murdered woman as – a toilet.
These comments have been published three days ago – and there are others like them! While there are always some silly fanatics publishing things like this in the anonymity of the internet I find it unbelievable that the German paper Die Welt refuses to delete them from their webpage.
Just imagine similar comments being posted after the murder of a Jewish person by an anti-Semite – a wave of protest would follow – and rightly so – contrasting sharply with the silence in this case.
Please write to [email protected] to protest – and tell your friends to do the same to stop this totally inadmissible comments.
These are the comments I mentioned above in the German original:
