Reports: 90% of Heads of Local Councils Expected to Be Replaced

 In a few hours, Egypt will witness a momentous event in its history when the interim Prime Minister, Essam Sharaf, is expected to issue a decision to replace heads of local councils in response to a demand by Egyptian revolutionaries as they have called for the collective dismissal of all governors and heads of local councils, as news reports stated.
 
Minister of Local Development, Mohsen al-Noamani, reviewed the files of a large number of candidates for local councils, as a prelude to a decision in a few hours on dismantling more than 90% of its heads in 26 governorates.
 
Informed sources explained that its leaders will be selected very carefully after passing several tests related to using computer knowledge in language and their capacity and ability to solve people’s problems.
