Resheq: Assassination of Mughniyah a link in the chain of Israel’s crimes
Ezzat Al-Resheq, a member of the Hamas political bureau, strongly denounced Wednesday the Israeli assassination of Emad Mughniyah, a prominent Hizbullah leader, in Damascus, considering it a link in the chain of the ongoing Israeli crimes against the peoples of the region.
In an exclusive statement to the PIC, Resheq opined that the Israeli crimes, no matter how brutal they are, would never undermine the spirit of resistance and fortitude instilled in the Arab and Islamic peoples, but rather it would increase their adherence to the option of resistance against the “criminal Zionist terror” which has no geographical boundaries.
In another exclusive statement to the PIC, Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman in Gaza, stated that this crime is an example of Israel”s conspiracy and its defilement of Arab and Islamic arenas, adding that this crime reflects Israel”s criminal mindset which is only satisfied with its assassinations in the Palestinian arena.
Abu Zuhri called on the Arab and Islamic countries to actively move to confront this “Zionist octopus” which threatens the security and stability of the Arab and Islamic arenas.
In a statement received by the PIC, the Hamas Movement mourned the death of Emad Mughniyah, underscoring that his assassination would increase the steadfastness and fortitude of the Islamic resistance in Lebanon in the face of the Israeli aggression.
Meanwhile, a state of full alert was declared within and outside Israel including its embassies around the world after Hizbullah officially held the Mossad directly responsible for the assassination of Mughniyah.
Israel”s official circles expressed their great satisfaction with the assassination news which became also the center of attention of the Hebrew media outlets.
