Rights Report Hails Political Diversity of Lawyers Syndicate Candidates

MAAT Center for Rights and Constitutional Studies hailed lawyers’ unity despite their political affiliations commenting that this unity brings hope in the transcendence of differences between lawyers as it wastes the opportunity of those wanting to close the syndicate citing, as evidence, the example of lawyers’ stance and unity in their confrontation of the law on increasing judicial fees.

In its report, the center explained that the Islamic Legislation committee trend will be running for the elections to be held on May 23 and competed by the former president’s trend, pointing out that the candidates, as usual, represent the different colors of the political spectrum including the Muslim Brotherhood; Wafd, Karamah, and National Democratic parties; Islamic Lawyers; Copts; in addition to independents who form the majority.
