Saad Al-Shater: Oppression Will Not Stop Us Working in Homeland, Serving People
Saad Al-Shater, the son of Khairat Al-Shater (Muslim Brotherhood Vice-Chairman), said Tuesday: "The oppression we suffer will not stop us investing in Egypt, to serve all Egyptians".
During a speech he made to the media, before the start of a session of his trial in a trumped-up case known in the media as Rabaa Operations Room lawsuit, Al-Shater’s son said: "Though we continue to sacrifice and suffer restrictions and repression, we will not be deterred from working in Egypt, for the benefit of all Egyptians".
Regarding coup authorities’ decision to seize luxury stores owned by his father, Saad Al-Shater said: "The whole family is not bothered by such maneuvers. This is only a small part of the family’s sacrifice for the homeland".
