Second Time in a Row, Egyptian National Soccer Team 2008 CAN Champ

For the second time in a row and the sixth in its history, the Egyptian national soccer team won the Cup of Africa Nations (CAN) title, after defeating the Cameroonian soccer team 1-0 by Egyptian player Mohhamed Abu Trika who stirred a debate after he showed a Tee shirt on which “Sympathize with Gaza” was written.
 
Ikhwanweb, the Muslim Brotherhood”s official web site, congratulates the Egyptian soccer team on this win, attributing it to the enthusiastic spirit with which the national team has been playing throughout the championship, wishing it more future wins.
 
Thousands of Egyptians have taken to the streets to celebrate their team”s win, the second in a row after 2006 win and the sixth in its history.
