Settlement units built in occupied Jerusalem

The Israeli occupation government is planning to build  600 new settlement units in occupied east Jerusalem.

According to a Haaretz report on  Friday the district planning commission has approved a plan to add 600 housing units near Pisgat Zeev settlement.

The number was scaled back to 600 from the original 1,100 after it came to light that much of the land was owned privately by Palestinians.
