Settlers confiscate tens of Palestinian cultivated dunums south of Nablus

NABLUS, — Zionist settlers south of Nablus city started on Tuesday to bulldoze Palestinian cultivated lands in preparation for annexing them to their settlement of Eli, reliable sources reported.

They said that the bulldozers went on the rampage in Palestinian land owned by citizens in the villages of Lubban, Assawiya, and Qaryut.

The sources warned that the settlers might be expanding their settlement to include a nearby settlement outpost, which would result in confiscating hundreds of dunums of Palestinian farmland.

The Israeli occupation forces, (IOF), for their part, decided to seize Palestinian agricultural land in Yanun and Awarta villages in order to build military positions.

Local sources said that the IOF soldiers delivered official notifications to the Palestinians in both villages along with maps delineating the sites of the confiscated land.
