Seven Dead and Dozens Under the Rubble Communicating with Their Families Via Mobile Phones

The number of fatalities from the collapsed clothing factory inAlexandria reached seven while the search continues.
The six-story factory in All-Hadara area collapsed yesterday evening due to the bad weather and storms which hit Egypt.
Sources stressed that the factory employs 200 workers but only 60 workers were present at the time of the collapse.

ople are thought to be alive under the rubble. A number of people stated that they are communicating by mobile phone with their family members who are still under the rubble.
The factory was built 30 years ago and has received many demolition orders which were not implemented.
Parts of buildings in Alexandria fell and the number of dead is now more than 18 who were killed due to the thunderstorms and sandstorms which hit Egypt.
In Abul Hassan area in Al-Mahalla Al-Kobra, a five-story house collapsed and the rubble is being lifted.
