Seven Students At Faiyum University Detained

Egyptian security forces detained on Wednesday morning seven Muslim Brotherhood affiliates at the University of Faiyum.


Six of those students were captured after storming into their houses and the other one was detained at the university”s gate.


Imprisoned students are Mahmoud El Sayed, Mohamed Salah El Din, Ashour Mohamed Agami (from the Engineering Faculty), Mohamed Gamal Shabaan, Ayman Ramadan, and Mahmoud Mohamed Abdul- Gawad (from Dar El Uloum Faculty). Ali Ali Raghib (student of Social Service) was detained during entering the main gate.


The detained students were referred to prosecution today. Security forces usurped the engineering “Graduation Project” of Ashour.


Further, two of the detained students were dismissed from the faculty. So far, the dismissed MB students mounted 14, other 14 investigated, and 15 expelled at the University of Faiyum.
