Sheikh Salah: I packed my bag to participate in the 2nd Freedom Flotilla convoy
Sheikh Ra’ed Salah, the head of the Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied lands, stated Monday that his travel bag was already packed and he is ready anytime to participate in the second Freedom Flotilla convoy.
In a statement to Al-Khalij newspaper, Sheikh Salah said that the first Freedom Flotilla convoy managed to break the international silence towards the Israeli blockade on Gaza and the efforts of its activists paid off.
He added that thanks to Freedom Flotilla activists, the blockade on Gaza has entered a new stage in favor of the just Palestinian position while the countdown to the demise of the Israeli occupation and the end of its siege has started.
“Israel wanted to deter the world from thinking once again to send humanitarian ships to break Gaza siege, but it screwed up and its plans went awry,” the Sheikh highlighted.
