Sinai Bedouins Call For Impeachment of Officers Who Stimulated Sinai Clashes
Sinai Bedouins called for judicial procedures against those officers who inspired the clashes in Sinai after the killing of four Bedouins at the hands of the security forces, Ikhwanweb reporter said.
The first Bedouin was killed after trying to escape the police checkpoint due to inexistence of their IDs, while the other three were killed at a border point when they went to demonstrate against the murder of the first one, as the Bedouins said.
As for the police forces justification, they said the Bedouins fired them so they had to defend themselves by firing the Bedouins back.
Sinai Bedouins called for the immediate release of all detainees during the recent clashes.
After the murder of the first Bedouin, Sinai Bedouins kidnapped 50 police soldiers including the Anti-Riot Police Officer at Northern Sinai and set fire to three police stations as well three police trucks in protest against the murder.
Relation between the Egyptian government and the Bedouins recently witnessed tense clashes after Taba’s terrorist explosions that were followed by a security random round-up campaign within Sinai Bedouins hitting nearly 8000 of them in a provocative manner that inspired tension repetitively.
