Tag el Deen Withdraws Complaint Against Three Revolutionary Socialists
Gamal Tag el Deen, head of the Lawyers Syndicate’s Freedom committee, withdrew his complaint against three Revolutionary Socialists after their leaders confirmed they had nothing to do with the latest violence.
In a statement to Ikhwanweb he stated: “I withdrew my complaint with the intention of preserving the nation’s unity. I recognize and appreciate fully the role of the socialists in the January 25 revolution who defended the people’s rights and it has been proved that they had nothing to do with the violence
El-Deen, had earlier accused the three Revolutionary Socialists Yaser Abdul Qawy, Sameh Nageeb and Hisham Yousry of inciting people to topple the state, occupy and burn down state buildings, and intentionally create chaos.
It is to be noted that the Muslim Brotherhood’s (MB), media spokesman Dr. Mahmoud Ghozlan distanced the group from the matter, pointing out that El-Deen had filed the lawsuit as an individual before the filed complaint was withdrawn.
