Talkha’s MB Shura Candidate Abdul Mohsen Qamhawi Arrested
The security forces in the governorate of Dakahlia detained Abdul Mohsen Qamhawi, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) candidate for the constituency of Talkha (Category: workers – election symbol: the axe), while he was campaigning in the city of Nabarouh.
The security forces stormed into Qamhawi’s election hustings in a barbaric way and dispersed his supporters.
To add insult to injury, the security forces arrested the Muslim Brotherhood candidate himself along with another supporter, Sherif Al Mougi from the city of Talkha, at 6.00PM CLT and sent them to Nabarouh police station where they are still detained till now.
It is worth mentioning that the security forces have recently detained several Muslim Brotherhood candidates who run for the Shura Council midterm elections.
