The MB launches a door to door campaign
Members of the Muslim Brotherhood in Daqahleya, embarked on an electoral campaign in an effort to explain the group’s reasons for taking part in the elections.
The campaign that is titled “Knocking on doors for reform” will clarify in leaflets why the group insists on participating despite calls to boycott the elections by other political opposition groups.
A second leaflet will also be distributed explaining the group’s controversial slogan “Islam is the Solution”. The campaign is expected to explain the MB’s ideology and familiarize the public with the group’s candidates and the current MP’s accomplishments.
The group has been facing escalating arbitrary arrests and raids on several houses and businesses since the chairman, Dr. Mohamed Badie, confirmed their participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections
