The Muslim Brotherhood Marks New Islamic Year and Coptic Christmas

Mr. Mohamed Mahdi Akef, Chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood and the entire Executive Council, extend their warmest greetings to the Orthodox Christians in Egypt and throughout the world during their celebration of the Christmas Holiday. As Muslims celebrate the beginning of a new Islamic year, we hope for the day when we all enjoy together our freedom and celebrate the end of tyranny, corruption and injustice in our countries. In the free society we are aspiring to; religious freedom, tolerance and equality are among its basic principles, and they are what the Muslim Brotherhood is committed to.
