The Muslim Brotherhood supports leader Yahya Sinwar in his selection as head of the Hamas movement.

The Muslim Brotherhood congratulates the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on selecting leader Yahya Sinwar as the head of the political bureau of the movement, succeeding the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh, may Allah have mercy on him.

The Brotherhood, while reaffirming its firm stance on supporting the Palestinian people’s right to defend their land and liberate it from occupation, emphasizes that rallying behind the leadership and maintaining unity is the duty of the time in this delicate circumstance.

We ask Allah Almighty to assist leader Yahya Sinwar and his brothers in the movement in carrying this responsibility and leading it to safety.
