The Presidency Receives Warns against the Danger of Parliament Dissolution  
 
Authentic sources told el-Misreon that the Presidency gives up its threats of dissolving the ongoing parliament if the Muslim Brotherhood’s representatives adopt opposition attitude regarding the Egyptian foreign affairs. This tendency was a product of manifold reports that affirmed that the parliament dissolution would drag the country into violence and instability. In addition, the ruling National Democratic Party may lose its dominance over the parliament for the benefit of the MB, if new election to be called.
 
Political and security reports refereed to the presidency underlined the immense contests on the integrity of the polls that was marred by irregularities. Accordingly, they do not prefer to dissolve the parliament. Instead they suggest to make deals with the MB’s and the independent representatives or to apply ’carrot and stick’ policy to contain the opposition presence in the parliament.
 
The American News Times cited Seliman Awad, the spokesman of the presidency, saying Mubark ordered an urgent account on the parliamentary polls, positive and negative aspects to be prepared.
 
Awad added that Mubark exhorted his NDP’s representatives to fulfill Mubark’s campaign commitments of political, social and economical reform.
