University Expels 10 MB Students, Announces Uncontested Winners in Student Elections
Kafr El-Sheikh University administration expelled 10 MB students yesterday, October 15, for two weeks “on charges of” welcoming new students.
The expelled students include: Mohamed El-Haddad, Mohamed Nazih, Islam El-Sabbagh, Mohamed Hasan Ghazi, Ibrahim El-Mahallawy, Hamdy Heikal, Mahmoud Mahdi, and Mohamed Shehab.
The students said they were expelled for publicizing for the three candidates in their faculty who were running for the Student Union elections. They were then surprised to find that these candidates were crossed out and the results were announced of the uncontested winners who were supporters of the security and university administration. In fact, from the eight faculties of the university, winners of all the 468 seats, among which MB students had been running for 25, were uncontested.
