University Professors Stage Protest to Release Dr. Badee’

Hundreds of university professors and students staged a protest yesterday at Beni-Sweif university in solidarity with Dr. Mohamed Badee’, university professor of veterinary and member of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Guidance Bureau.
The protest was joined by a large number of university professors who raised the slogan “Freedom for the honorable” Calling for the release of Dr. Badee’ who was recently detained as a part of the government’s crackdown against the Muslim Brotherhood, particularly during the municipal elections phase.
The protest was ended with a peaceful march around the university headed by Dr. Hamdi Zahran, a university professor and a member in the MB Parliamentary Bloc, and sending a delegate to the head of the university calling him to intervene for the release of Dr. Badee’.
