Youth Group Announces Names of Candidates Belonging to Mubarak Regime on Lists of Leading Egyptian Parties

"The Popular Front Against Remnants of Mubarak Regime" announced the names of 17 individuals which it described as "NDP remnants" who will be running for elections representing different parties, including Al-Wafd Party, Free Egyptians, and Egyptian Democratic Party, the last two are part of the Egyptian Bloc coalition.
Fatima, media coordinator of the Popular Front, stated that the list has been sent out including names of candidates who belong to the dissolved National Democratic Party. The Popular Front stated that it is morally and legally bound by the information it submitted.
The list includes the following names:
1-Heshmat Fahmy (Al-Wafd Party), running for North Cairo Constituency.
2-Mohamed Zen El-Deen (Free Egyptians Party), running in Behera.
3-Zuhair Sary (Free Egyptians- Behera),
4-Mohamed Arafat (Free Egyptians- Behera),
5-Ahmed Zaki (Egyptian Democratic Party- Minia),
6-Zenhom Fekry Labeeb (Constitutional Party – Minia),
7-Mahmoud Marawan (Reformand Development Partyv-Minia),
8-Samah Gad, (Constitutional Party – Minia),
9-Ihab Ramsy (Freedom Party- Minia),
10-Abdelwahab MakramAbdellateef (Freedom Party – Minia),
11-Montaser Malek Yaqoub (Freedom Party- Assiut),
12-Ahmed Fathy Noman (Freedom Party – Assiut),
13-Medhat Abdel Akher (Conservatives Party- Sohaj)
14-Hesham Al-Shenei (Freedom Party – Qena),
15-Tarek Talat Mostafa, brother of Hesham Talat Mostafa (independent – Alexandria)
16-Samir Mohamed Saeed Al-Telbany (independent – Damietta),
17-Samy Mohamed Salem (independent – Damietta).
The statements also added that it will continue working on releasing a new statement within the next few days, including the names of remnant candidates running for the Parliamentary elections at the national level.
