Zahhar affirms insistence on resistance
MP Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahhar, the renowned Hamas leader in Gaza, has called on the Arab and Islamic countries to assume their responsibilities in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and not to leave them alone in face of Israeli and American oppression.
Zahhar, in a televised address on Monday night, appealed to the Arab and Islamic world not to leave the Palestinian people alone in face of the “criminal Americans and the Israeli invaders”.
He renewed the pledge that the Palestinians would remain steadfast and would continue to resist occupation until final liberation of their country.
The Hamas leader, who lost a second son a few days ago at the hands of the IOF troops in Gaza, stressed that “blood of martyrs will only boost our resilience and insistence on our rights and constants”.
Zahhar hoped that national unity would prevail in the Palestinian arena in face of the Israeli aggression and arrogance.
He extended thanks to all Palestinian, Arab, Muslim and international leaders who offered their condolences over the martyrdom of his son Hussam and other members of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, in the Israeli massacre in which 17 Palestinians were killed in Zaitun suburb in Gaza city.
