24 MB Students Expelled, 26 Others Transferred To Investigation for Gaza Events

In a continuance of the escalating campaign launched against MB students, Egyptian universities expelled around 24 MB students for periods ranging from 1-2 weeks and transferred 26 other MB students to investigations on charges of organizing pro-Gaza events.
 
In Fayyoum University, the Engineering faculty administration expelled 3 students for a week for their participation in a victory festival under the “Let’s Build Gaza” campaign.
 
Seven MB students from the faculty of Social Services and nine from Dar El-Ulum faculty were transferred to investigations for the same reason.
 
From the faculty of Education, senior student Mohamed Abdul-Adheem was transferred to investigations three times.
 
In Mansura University, the Engineering faculty’s administration transferred four students to investigations for their participation in an art exhibition under the “Gaza, The Beginning” campaign which exhibited art work expressing the history of resistance and its achievements.
 
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine also transferred five MB students to investigations for posting flyers concerning the campaign “Gaza, The Beginning.”
 
In Kafr El-Sheikh University, the administration of the Faculty of Education expelled four student members of the Students for Palestine Association for a period of two weeks without any accusations laid against them in response to the students’ organization of a “Let’s Build Gaza” exhibition which has been held in five places until now.
 
Similarly, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture expelled three students from the Students for Palestine Association for a period of ten days for the same reason without conducting investigations with them.
