IOF missile blasts northern Gaza

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired a surface-to-surface missile at the Gaza Strip on Friday night causing a big explosion and spreading panic among civilians, local sources reported.

They told the PIC reporter that the IOF artillery fired the missile at Ezbit Abedrabbo east of Jabalia to the north of the Gaza Strip.

The IOF said that the attack was in retaliation to the firing of two grad rockets fired from Gaza by the armed wing of the popular front for the liberation of Palestine earlier Friday.

The Salahuddin Brigades, the armed wing of the popular resistance committees, announced responsibility late Friday for firing five mortar shells at IOF troops east of Rafah in retaliation to an IOF incursion in the area.
